Years 5 and 6 students from North Beach Primary School were excited to venture outside the classroom and take a day out to visit the Western Australian Museum last Wednesday.
The classes explored the entire museum with the dinosaur and mammal exhibits proving popular with the students. Of course it was all about learning so the students built upon their knowledge with ‘The Lost Diggers of Vignacourt’exhibit that closely linked to the students Australian History Curriculum as well as complementing their learnings of the centenary of WW1 earlier on this year.
North Beach Primary School was awarded this excursion courtesy of Hawaiian, owner and manager of Duncraig Shopping Centre.
