A 2016 Biggest Morning Tea fundraiser in Melville received a helping hand from Hawaiian in their bid to raise money for the Cancer Council, receiving the chance to auction a skills session with reining NBL champions and Hawaiian partner, Perth Wildcats.

Four local basketball teams, Jets, Melville Magic, Moonlights and Gems, rallied together and took out the prize to host two Perth Wildcats players at their training session.

On court stars, Jarrod Kenny and Matthew Knight took the enthusiastic Melville basketball stars through basketball drills and shared some of their top tips on the court.

“It was so fun, the best part was getting to play with the Perth Wildcats!” said participant, Zoe Wilkinson.
