Continuing its tradition of breaking records year on year, the Western Australian community has helped Telethon raise an incredible total of over $26 million.
A proud supporter of Telethon, Hawaiian was proud to be able to again contribute to another successful year, this year presenting a donation of $450,000, as well as gift hampers from our retail centres for both Little Telethon Stars, Cody and Hailey, and a special trip to Hawaiian’s iconic Cable Beach Club Resort & Spa in Broome.
This year we furthered our support with the inaugural Telethon Takeover event, bringing the iconic charity event to Claremont Quarter. Channel 7’s Natalie Barr and Kylie Gillies were caught shopping up a storm on Saturday, while other celebrities including Lynne McGregor and Chloe Hurst mingled with shoppers in the Square before Missy Lancaster, Jess & Matt, and X Factor’s Prendz and Bailey got the crowd dancing on Sunday.
Telethon funding continues to provide much needed financial assistance to charitable organisations, children’s hospitals and research & medical facilities, changing the lives of countless children across Western Australia.
