Our Partners

Hawaiian is proud to have long-standing partnerships with Western Australian organisations working to help our community.

Our partnerships are at the core of our mission: To make a meaningful difference to West Australia's young people and their families. Through our partnerships we remain committed to helping West Australians thrive and reach their full potential.

Foodbank WA

Hawaiian proudly partners with Foodbank WA to tackle food stress and insecurity in Western Australia.

For more than 10 years, Hawaiian Giving Box has rallied the community to encourage food and monetary donations across our network of shopping centres to provide WA families experiencing hardship with support during the festive season. Together we’ve provided more than 300,000 meals for Western Australians in need.

The Fremantle Food Hub at Hawaiian’s Sunshine Harvester Works provides education and empowerment to locals. Here, families learn practical nutrition with fresh, affordable groceries, for healthy choices on every plate.

Through collaboration, Hawaiian and Foodbank WA are weaving a web of food security across the Perth Metro area.

McGovern Foundation

We’re proud to partner with the McGovern Foundation, empowering individuals in Western Australia to overcome barriers and reach their full potential.

A driver’s license is key to unlocking doors to independence, employment and a brighter future. However, for many Western Australians the path to getting a license can be riddled with obstacles; from financial constraints to lack of access to qualified instructors. Hawaiian’s partnerships is tackling this challenge head-on.
We’re funding a driver mentor program that that pairs aspiring drivers with experienced instructors. The driver mentors don’t just teach the mechanics of driving. Our partnerships ensures that everyone in Western Australia has the chance to get behind the wheel and drive towards a brighter future.

Short Back & Sidewalks

Hawaiian and Short Back & Sidewalks have joined forces to provide free haircuts, free of judgement.

Founded by 2022 WA Australian of the Year Local Hero Craig Hollywood, Short Back & Sidewalks offers free haircuts to Perth’s homeless and vulnerable. Together with Short Back & Sidewalks, Hawaiian is delivering an innovative new partnership to provide in-salon hair cutting services to the growing number of Western Australians who are experiencing financial stress and for whom a salon service is unaffordable.

Together, we are creating positive connections with vulnerable and marginalised community members to build a stronger and more inclusive community through the power of a free haircut.

Telethon

Telethon’s mission to provide life-changing support to Western Australian families in need, resonates deeply with our values at Hawaiian. We believe in the power of collective action, in the transformative ripple effect of kindness.

As a Million Dollar Partner, Hawaiian’s unwavering support extends far beyond financial contributions. We actively engage our communities and the Hawaiian team in the spirit of giving, volunteering and raising funds across our neighbourhood shopping centres to provide hope and opportunity to those who need our help. By joining forces with Telethon, we believe we can make a real difference in the lives of those facing adversity.
