Alfresco Construction Project is Underway!

Following months of planning and our successful Development Application to deliver a dynamic alfresco space at Hawaiian’s Newpark, we’re thrilled to announce that construction officially commenced today.
As the first step of the process, construction fencing has been installed on the Templeton Street side of the centre to section off the area as we start works on the new Alfresco area. A map outlined the impacted areas is above.
Despite the fencing being in place, Banh Mi Vung Tau, Success Tax Professionals and Hai Ha Money Transfer are still open and trading.
At the same time, we will also be working to deliver other centre enhancements as part of this project including:
- Internal Ambience Upgrades: Modernised flooring and ceilings will create a fresh and inviting atmosphere throughout the centre.
- Improved Amenities: Upgraded in-centre facilities to enhance the shopping experience.
- Exciting Newcomers: We’ll be welcoming some new retailers to the neighbourhood, bringing fresh shopping options to the community.
While construction is underway, there will be some temporary adjustments in place at the centre. Keep an eye on our website and our social media pages for all the latest updates.
We appreciate your patience during this time as we work to deliver an enhanced experience for all at Hawaiian’s Newpark. The upgrade project is expected to be completed in late 2024.
